Iwai-Bashi - Celebratory Chopstick Japantry X Hataguchi
Collaboration Iwai-Bashi with Eri from Japantry.
Made of willow tree, shaved thin on both ends, and used for celebratory occations such as New Year's and wedding ceremonies. Our version is dressed up in Hataguchi Collective’s hand-print recycled cotton paper. It has a pair of toothpicks and is lined with shaved pine wood for guests to keep their chopsticks for later uses without staining the sleeve. It is said that the reason why both ends of Iwai-bashi are thin is because one end is used by the gods, and it was thought to bring blessings to the gods by receiving the same chopsticks as the gods.
Iwai-Bashi chopsticks are good luck charms for the new year, or any celebratory occasions, get these special collaboration piece for any occasions.
Unlike other chopsticks, these are not disposable and can be used repeatedly.
